On June 5th, Connolly Brothers had the pleasure of sponsoring the North Shore Chamber of Commerce's June Breakfast Forum featuring Nancy Frates, CEO of the Peter Frates Family Foundation.
Having been diagnosed with ALS, Nancy's son, Peter, is well known for starting the viral "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" movement to raise awareness and financial support for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis community. Nancy and Peter's efforts to raise awareness of ALS and utilize social media in their fundraising initiatives have had a transformative impact on ALS research.
