Northeast Arc is a nonprofit organization that helps people with disabilities become full participants in the community, choosing for themselves how to live, learn, work, socialize and play. When the organization was looking to renovate an existing metal fabrication shop into an educational facility for individuals with physical and/or mental disabilities, Connolly Brothers was more than happy to help see the project through from conception to completion.
Utilizing its design-build approach, Connolly Brothers renovated the 30,000 square-foot facility into a space appropriate for the kind of hands-on education that Northeast Arc was looking for. Throughout, Connolly was careful to meet stringent budget requirements and to maximize value for this nonprofit client so that the organization could focus on its helpful work rather than worrying about the construction process.
