Boston College
Newton, MA
Boston College has called upon Connolly Brothers for a wide range of campus construction and facilities upgrade needs over the course of many years. One recent project Connolly undertook on behalf of Boston's Jesuit university was the addition of a new laboratory for Higgins Hall, home to BC's Physics and Biology departments. The Higgins Laboratory project involved significant mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work to ensure proper ventilation of laboratory gases as well as careful installation of specialized lab equipment.

The research university also used Connolly for a complete overhaul of communal areas in Lyons Hall, home to classrooms and administrative offices. Prior, BC turned to Connolly for several dormitory renovations, a laser care laboratory, animal care facilities and more – a testament to the quality of Connolly's work.

Paul Scarnici, construction project manager at BC, says, “In all that time, we have only had success stories. I appreciate Connolly Brothers' good work and I know that they always bring in good people, so I don't have to worry about it."

Scarnici says that Connolly's ongoing value to the university extends beyond the construction site to the planning phase, adding, “Connolly is one of the best estimators I've ever come across."
