Temple Tiferet Shalom
Peabody, MA
Temple Tiferet Shalom (TTS) of the North Shore, affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, was established in 2015 with the consolidation of Temple Beth Shalom of Peabody and Temple Tifereth Israel of Malden. With its spiritual home in need of renovations, TTS selected Connolly Brothers as its construction manager.
Connolly's renovation work included the installation of a kitchen, new windows, a sprinkler system, security upgrades, and an elevator lift, as well as significantly more space for the temple's early learning center. Connolly also eliminated columns and reinforced supports to make the synagogue's foyer a more open gathering space, reinsulated the building, and addressed structural deficiencies.
“It was an honor to deliver a safe, welcoming physical space to match the spirit of this vibrant Jewish community on the North Shore," says Jay Connolly, president of Connolly Brothers.

"The renovations give the community hope and possibility. This is a reflection of who we are in 2023. It enables the community to feel joyful and proud of their sacred home." - Evan Sheinhait, Rabbi
TTS celebrated its new facilities with a “Let There Be Light" Gala, with the theme pointing to the Biblical passage and the increased natural light now present in the temple.
