Rochester Electronics
Newburyport, MA
Rochester Electronics is the world's largest continuous source of semiconductors. Over the course of a decades-long relationship, Connolly Brothers has repeatedly been called upon to help the company grow into what it is today: a global powerhouse with the capacity to manufacture more than 70,000 device types. Among the projects that Connolly has worked on for Rochester Electronics over the years are the following:
Connolly has collaborated with several architects on Rochester Electronics projects over the years, as well as offered its design-build services when appropriate. The best measure of the Connolly's work on these projects is the fact that we keep getting called back time and again.
- New corporate headquarters featuring executive and general office space, testing areas, and an open atrium lobby.
- Design and fit-up of electronic manufacturing space in two phases, including a chip-plating facility with wastewater treatment facilities and ancillary support spaces, as well as a clean room and mold room.
- A pre-engineered building for electronics storage and distribution, which required strict adherence to local Conservation Commission requirements.
- Office fit-up and exterior renovations, including value engineering to meet strict budgetary requirements.
