BEVERLY, Mass. — Connolly Brothers Inc., a construction management firm serving private commercial, industrial and institutional clients, recently completed a 20,000-square-foot design-build renovation project for Boston Onnuri Church located in Billerica, Massachusetts.

The scope of this project included demolition of existing first-floor office and light manufacturing space to accommodate construction of three sanctuaries, gathering and fellowship areas, a serving kitchen, and a new accessible entrance ramp and deck located at the rear of the building. The Connolly team worked closely with the church's building committee to expedite delivery of long lead items.

"Throughout this journey, Connolly has not only acted as our contractor but has walked with us as a genuine partner. Your steady support, responsiveness, and care at every step have meant more to our congregation than we can express." — Boston Onnuri Church

The project involved a change in use from office/light manufacturing to assembly space. This required the addition of two new side entrances and an accessible rear entrance ramp to meet building code provisions for occupancy, life safety, and accessibility.

"It's been a pleasure working with Boston Onnuri Church," says Connolly Brothers President and CEO Jay Connolly. "From planning to completion, our team leveraged their skills to deliver this project successfully. We are honored to have played a role in such an important project and know it will serve the Church's mission for years to come."

Connolly Brothers served as both Architect of Record and Construction Manager. The project team also included D&D Electrical Contractors, Inc.; DJ Plumbing and Heating Inc.; East Coast Fireproofing Co., Inc.; Hiller Fire Protection; Medford Wellington Service Company, Inc.; Northern Dynamics, LLC; and Superior Contracting Services, LLC.
